you've been growing in Mommy's tummy for 9 weeks now and your progress thus far seems to me like you've already inherited both Mommy and Daddy's stubborn traits--Oh my little one, although we are only 9 weeks into this long journey together, Mommy is dreading the idea that you might turn out to be just like her!
Mommy was terrified when the ER Doctor told me there was a chance I could lose you..I knew from the moment I found out you were growing in my tummy that I had never wanted anything so much in my entire life.
Not even a hamburger incorporated into my vegan diet.
That first night after our trip to the ER, Mommy talked to you for hours at bedtime and eventually we worked out a deal, you and I. We agreed that you would hold on tight, and if Mommy tried her best to be good and healthy, you would be as stubborn as Mommy and Daddy both and stay right where you were until it was time to come out.
4 weeks have come and gone since we had our first late night talk together. Since then many have come and gone, all with the renewed deal between us--in just this one case, I am so very glad you are starting to show your stubborn side this early on in the game.
Mommy loves you very, very much and can't wait until you get here!
